Spring Training

To be in South Florida during the month of March is a wonderful time. You have the amazing weather, college spring break, St Patricks Day and best of all is Spring Training Baseball.
I try to get to as many of the spring baseball games as I can. The experience is one of a kind, you are so close to the action you feel like part of the game, and the players are just a few feet away. There are three teams playing within 45 minutes of where I am living, each of which I have visited multiple times over the last four years.

Scorsese Movie Rankings
Just the other night I got out of the apartment and went to see Shutter Island. It was a good movie, great… no, but it was good. The movie was directed by Martin Scorsese, and I have probably seen at least 13 of his films over the years. And guess what, this leads us into todays blog post. How do I rank his movies. (I am going to leave the movies of his that I have not seen off of the list.)
When Is A Good Samaritan Also A Douche Bag

I was sitting there, quietly eating my lunch at the Cannoli Kitchen. A warm slice of sicilian pizza sprinkled with parmesan and garlic sitting in front of me. An interesting story on the television that had caught my attention, someone had flown a small airplane into a building. I wasn’t the only person watching, everyone at the pizza parlor was watching the report. There was a live shot of the flames shooting out of the side of the building, and the reporter speculating on what had happened.
This is when one angry man stepped out of line at the counter to begin yelling at his fellow patrons. Continue reading
