So, Let Me Get This Straight…

Randy Senneway

Cruddy Uncle SamSo, let me get this straight… You  pay a bum to stand on a street corner, dressed as Uncle Sam, waving at passing cars, and I’m supposed to trust you with my taxes??? Was this company founded by a used car salesman? I have seen many of these street corner greeters and all have been the worse for wear. (I have even seen a few Lady Libertys) Uncle Sam, who has been in the same cruddy costume for three months, does not make me want to walk through your doors. Although it does make me wonder if you have any other costumed characters sitting behind a desk. To end this, I must say that Liberty Tax Service in my opinion, you have failed.

Wow…I think before you bash a compnay you might want to do a little research.

Did you know the founder of Liberty Tax Service (John Hewitt) got his start by working for H&R Block in the 1960’s. He then founded Jackson Hewitt and was the first person to develop tax software that gave poeple the ability to e-file? Then after her sold JH for $400 million he founded Liberty Tax. Also, did you know that Liberty Tax Service is the ONLY company that requires all of their preparers to be certified before they are allowed to prepare a return. Something that the IRS doesn’t even do yet (O and another tidbit, the IRS is going to base their certification model of of the one Liberty uses).

Plus, having a waver in a costume is just and effective way of marketing their brand…I mean you did notice them, it stuck in your mind, and you wrote in your blog about it…right?
